Early access and the waitlist

• XPNSE is in early access. Features may change, break or be removed, and it may not be available everywhere.
• Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee access by a certain date. We'll email you when it's available for your phone. You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing privacy@xpnse.app.
• XPNSE is free during early access. We'll tell you well before any part of it stops being free.
• You must be 18 or older to join the waitlist or use the app, and give us accurate details.

Not financial advice

XPNSE helps you record and understand your own money. Budgets, forecasts, health scores, insights and settle-up suggestions are estimates based on what you enter. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Check important figures yourself and talk to a qualified adviser before making financial decisions.

XPNSE doesn't move money. Payments you make through UPI or any other app are between you, the other person and your payment provider.

Your account and your content

• Keep your sign-in details safe; you're responsible for what happens in your account.
• What you enter stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run XPNSE for you and the circles you choose to share with, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• When you add expenses to a circle, its members can see them. Only add people you trust.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• use XPNSE for anything illegal, fraudulent or to harass anyone;
• add other people's personal data without a good reason to share costs with them;
• try to access data that isn't yours, probe or break our security, or overload our systems;
• submit fake or automated waitlist entries or contact messages;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows.

We may suspend or close access that breaks these terms. You can stop using XPNSE and delete your account at any time.

Our intellectual property

The XPNSE name, logo, Penny and the other characters, the app, this website and their content belong to BRANDSWOT Consultancy or its licensors. These terms don't give you any right to use them except to use XPNSE as intended. Fonts and open-source components are used under their own licences.

Liability

We work hard to keep XPNSE accurate, secure and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", especially during early access. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or decisions you make based on figures in XPNSE, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to ₹1,000 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that can't be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms as XPNSE grows. We'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before going to court, please write to us; most things can be sorted out quickly.
